The basic premise: Why might a black boy not want to grow up? going back to my interdisciplinary and incendiary nature, I’m working with new Collaborators and old friends, music maker, Dr. Rock Strongonius , UrbanTheatre Chicago and Emotions Physical Theatre to create new music, new movement and a new theatre. No more Zoom!

A worthy work in progress…

We Just finished the first workshop and I’m even more excited. After the requisite covid testing for all, a remote production meeting in Lowden State Park, An artist retreat in the Rockford area house and 2 weeks of intense workshopping, data collection, collaborating with Chicago youth and an immeasurable amount of bike riding… we have a lot of stuff to edit. The trajectory of this project is limitless!
